Today, EA and Maxis released a brand new feature overview trailer for the upcoming The Sims 4 Cottage Living expansion pack, set to launch for PC and consoles on July 22.
The Sims 4 Cottage Living will transport players to the cozy town of Henford-on-Bagley, where there are an abundance of ways to embrace the cottage living lifestyle. Sims can grow their own produce for garden-to-table meals, raise and befriend animals, get to know the locals and find a variety of new ways to connect with nature.
The feature trailer showcases all of the exciting new things the countryside has to offer Sims, from getting to know locals over a pint in The Gnome’s Arms pub, trying their hand at concocting any of the 16 varieties of jam, enjoying a delightful picnic and taking up a new hobby of cross-stitching. Players can also encourage their Sims to live off of the land, growing and foraging for their own food for a true garden-to-table lifestyle with the Simple Living Lot Challenge, or to enter their prized crops at the Finchwick Fair for village-wide bragging rights. Animals run aplenty in Henford-on-Bagley, as Sims can raise chickens in the coop for fresh eggs, befriend cows for tasty milk or raise llamas for cozy wool.
