ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM UBISOFT FORWARD were thick and fast yesterday, but with no SplinterCell again. However, check out below an overview of some the latest announcements.


Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ is a first person, action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment – a Ubisoft studio, in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. 

Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open world experience. 

In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.  

Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends are back for an epic journey in 2022! 

Ubisoft announced that Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends are back in a cosmic adventure in Mario + Rabbids® Sparks of Hope. Players will embark on an epic journey to restore order as Cursa, a mysterious and malevolent entity, twists the planets with its evil influence. They will explore incredible worlds and fight enemies in innovative combats mixing turn-based tactics and real-time movements with their extravagant team of heroes. Mario + Rabbids® Sparks of Hope will be available worldwide for Nintendo SwitchTM in 2022.

The next mainline installment in the Rainbow Six franchise, Extraction is a brand-new tactical co-op experience. 

Yesterday at Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft® announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, the next mainline installment in the Rainbow Six franchise, will release worldwide with full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression on 16th September, 2021 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Amazon Luna, Stadia, and for Windows PC exclusively on both the Epic Game Store and the Ubisoft Storeas well as on Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft subscription service.* 

Ubisoft announced that Riders Republic™, the new massive multiplayer outdoor sports playground, will launch 2nd September 2021. Riders Republic will be available for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Stadia and from the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store on Windows PC. The game will also be available on Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft subscription service.* Ubisoft also announced that players can register now for a chance to participate in upcoming betas. Experience unlimited access to guitar learning in Rocksmith+ 

Yesterday, Ubisoft announced Rocksmith+, a new subscription service that teaches players how to play guitar and bass through their favorite songs. Building upon the award-winning Rocksmith method, which has helped almost five million people learn how to play guitar, Rocksmith+ will release Summer 2021 for Windows PC exclusively through the Ubisoft Store.* Rocksmith+ will also launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Xbox One and PlayStation®4 in Fall 2021. Rocksmith+ will be available on iOS and Android devices at a later date.

Ubisoft has announced that Just Dance®2022, the newest installment of the #1 Music Video Game Franchise of All Time, will launch on November 4, 2021, on the Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Stadia.  This year, Just Dance 2022 offers players even more ways to dance. 40 New Songs and Universes: “Level Up” your dance skills withchart-topping hits and viral internet phenomena.

As Part of Season Pass Content, Players Will Dive into the Twisted Minds of Legendary Far Cry Villains 

During E3 at Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft released a new Far Cry® 6 cinematic featuring protagonist Dani Rojas’s first encounter with Yaran dictator Antón Castillo. Additionally, Ubisoft revealed a first look at the Season Pass content, coming to Far Cry 6 post-launch. 

Players can look forward to the Siege of Paris expansion and discovery tour: Viking age 

Ubisoft announced that for the very first time in the franchise history, Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla will offer a second year of content. With Assassin’s Creed Valhalla already well into its first year of post-launch, players can currently jump into the recently-released Wrath of the Druids expansion, and will soon be able to dive into the second expansion, The Siege of Paris, as well as to learn more about the history of the time period in Discovery Tour: Viking Age. 

Crossplay between cloud-gaming platforms and PC will be available after Stadia launch on 30th June, with console crossplay and cross-progression across all-platforms coming early 2022 

Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow SixSiege is coming to Stadia on 30th June. From this date on, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna will have the opportunity to enjoy unified matchmaking and progression. Crossplay between console players and cross-progression for all platforms will be available early 2022. In addition, North Star, the second season Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 6, is launching on 14th June, introducing the new operator Thunderbird and the reworked map Favela, amongst many other updates. 

Yesterdaty, Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs: Legion’s new expansion, Bloodline, will be available on 6th July for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on Windows PC, Stadia, Luna and Ubisoft+*, Ubisoft’s subscription service

Ubisoft celebrated The Crew 2’s third anniversary and announced that The Crew franchise has reached a milestone of more than 30 million players. Ubisoft’s open world motorsports game is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on Windows PC, Stadia and Ubisoft’s subscription service, Ubisoft+*.   

Wild waterworks and brand-new team modes  Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that an all-new Royal mode and Ranked Matchmaking mode are now available for free in Trackmania® as part of Starter Access
